Alicante Golf

Situated at Playa de San Juan, very near to Alicante, this modern, balanced course and was designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The course has a par of 72, with six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s. The main feature of the course is the vast abundance of water, which makes for quite a tricky round. The course is flat, not particularly strenuous and you can see the green on all of the holes. It has two unusual features: the first is the lake in the shape of an S (the initial of the designer) surrounding the green on the 9th; the second is the Roman ruins next to the 14th which the player has to clear to reach the green.
