Find in Montebelo Golfe a strategic and challenging 27-hole course, framed by the magnificent natural scenery of Serra da Estrela and Serra do Caramulo. Conveniently located in the center of Portugal, in Viseu, this course is ideal for those looking for a different destination. It is a mountain golf course located within a dream landscape. The opening ceremony of the eighteen holes course was in September 1997, and in June 2007 it underwent expansion works to add nine more holes. This course represents a real challenge for all levels of competition, within a 200 hectares scenario of pines, oaks, as well as gorse and heather, the traditional underbrush of this region.

Amazing landscapes and the course is in very good conditions. The natural environment makes it hard to play in some holes because of the wind but that's a competitive advantage since you have to play wisely. I stayed to lunch and the food was really great, as it was the staff.

Der Platz war in einem ausgezeichneten Pflege Zustand. Allerdings sehr weich, was an dem vielen Regen der Vortage liegen konnte. Daher die Grüns auch langsam. Hügelig, ondulierte Grüns, schräge Fairways. Schwierig!

We played Caramulo,120 euro for 2 persons and buggy during the week is a good price for this nice course with stunning views over the Estrella mountain chain and a lot of height differences.
