About Golfbaan het Woold
Most hospitable golf course, best price-quality!
Golfcourse 'het Woold' is situated near National Park 'De Groote Peel' and features a 9-holes PAR-27 course (Gezandebaan) and an 18-hole PAR-72 course (Vier Eijckenbaan). The Gezandebaan offers plenty of challenge for both experienced and less experienced players. The Vier Eijckenbaan is a beautiful nature course with forest, heathland and wetlands and is open since July 1, 2011. Guest players are more than welcome. There are suffiecient golf carts. There is a professional golf school with extensive practice facilities including an indoor and outdoor Putt Academy and an indoor golf simulator. Everyone is welcome in the club house, which is very service oriented! In the spring of 2012, the new club house opened.

Membership description
Het lidmaatschap loopt van januari tot januari. In het eerste jaar wordt het speelrecht pro rato per maand verrekend t/m december. U kunt lid worden, waarbij u kunt kiezen voor speelrecht op de Vier Eijckenbaan 18 holes PAR72, de Gezandebaan 9 Holes PAR27 of voor beide golfbanen.
Er zijn ook nog de volgende lidmaatschappen:
Familielidmaatschap: wanneer 1 ouder lid is op beide banen kan jeugd lid worden tegen een speciaal tarief.
Jeugdlidmaatschap voor jeugd tot en met 20 jaar. Wanneer een lid 21 jaar wordt dan kan het lidmaatschap worden omgezet in een junior lidmaatschap.
Junior lidmaatschap is voor spelers tot en met 29 jaar en voor spelers die komend kalenderjaar 30 worden.

Onze 9-holes PAR-27 Gezandebaan is erg in trek bij de huidige leden van het Woold en gastspelers. De baan is uitdagend genoeg voor beginnende en gevorderde golfers. De baan is verlicht, waardoor men ook tijdens de schemer nog kan doorspelen. Met een greenfee mag u de baan op een dag tweemaal lopen.

Eén van de nieuwe Brabantse toplocaties voor een heerlijk golfuitje. Alles is goed verzorgd en over nagedacht. Hier kunnen heel veel clubs een puntje aan zuigen. Hoewel niet spectaculair, is de baan is afwisselend en voldoende uitdagend en gewoon lekker om te spelen. Maar het is het totale pakket (baan, service, ambiance) dat deze baan ver boven het maaiveld uittilt.

Wat een prachtige baan. Zelfs bij grote droogte nog mooi groen en uitstekend te bespelen, groot compliment voor het onderhoud. Gastvrije ontvangst, mooi clubhuis, dat jammer genoeg niet aan één van de slotholes ligt. De baan is zeer afwisselend, met soms lastige doglegs.
We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Een van de leukere golfbanen in Nederland waar ik heb gespeeld. Daarnaast is het clubhuis en na afloop de 19e hole zeer goed verzorgd. Optimale ontvangst en gastvrijheid, een goede keuken en een enthousiast team. Met schitterend weer op de binnenplaats waan je je in België of Frankrijk.
