Set in a pine wood with several lakes, and benefiting from a microclimate that allows you to play golf all year round, the Aroeira I and II golf courses offer players of all levels a stimulating and varied challenge.
Herdade da Aroeira is located in a preserved area, 25km from the centre of Lisbon and just 600 meter from the beach. The estate covers 350 hectares, has thousands of pines and several lakes to go with a temperate microclimate. There are two 18-hole championship golf courses, a golf school, a friendly clubhouse with snack-bar, bar and golf shop, as well as apartments and villas, tropical swimming pool, four tennis courts, playground, shopping mall and a hotel is planned.
The Aroeira estate is ring fenced, has gatehouses and a round-the-clock security service.

Afgelopen week speelden wij 3 keer oo Aroeira 1 en vandaag op Aroeira 2. Waar het deze dagen in Nederland -8 was, was het hier 16 graden, toch 24 graden verschil! Wel moesten we enkele korte buien trotseren en een hele stevige wind. Maar ook de zon liet zich geregeld zien.

De 1e negen zijn mi een beetje saai. Alle par 4’s gewoon driver. De bijzondere huizen die langs de holes staan maken het afwisselend... De 2e negen zijn mi leuker om te spelen. Het clubhuis is sfeervol en zowel bij de receptie als de bediening is zeer vriendelijk.

Quand vous jouez le parcours 1 impossible d'aller au practice sans prendre sa voiture car il est situé côté parcours 2 mais qui est fermé en août. Donc pas pratique du tout pour s'echauffer. Parcours long (c'est la difficulté) bien entretenu au niveau des fairways et des départs. Greens TRÈS lents et en fin de carottages. Départs du 1 des boules blanches mal indiqué. Bunk…

Prachtige golfbaan, rustig gelegen. Goede fairways, snelle greens. Hier konden wij op dag 3 van ons SingleGolfers golfweek heerlijk de baan op. De pijnbomen, op hoge smalle stammen omlijsten de baan prachtig. Jammer dat er geen driving range is voor de deelnemers die even in willen slaan. Clubhuis is erg simpel maar best gezellig.
Aanrader als je in regio Lissabon bent!
