About Amarante Golf Course
Opened in 1997, the Golf Amarante was designed by the Portuguese architect Jorge Santana da Silva, who successfully combined the natural environment while making a challenging design.
This golf course is not very long, there are three Par 5's, eight holes are a Par 4 and seven holes are a Par 3.
The need for a good judgment of the distances and challenging short game provide a pleasant and constant challenge. Greens are not easy as well.

Very friendly reception, we were given a course book and explanations. The golf course is very ondulated, a lot of height differences, too much for our taste. A buggy is quite necessary. The club re opened after 6 months. Some of the equipmàt is somewhat dated but still a very nice course to play. Super friendly staff and the club sandwich is a must try.
