About Son Quint Golf (ArabellaGolf)

Inspired by pleasure

Golf Son Quint is the youngest golf course of the island, inaugurated in 2007. The long and open course allows a more extensive game, which makes members and beginners more than happy. This year we carried out the redesigned of holes number 8 and 9 in order to make them more attractive, converting hole number 9 in a PAR 3.We also enlarge the Tee of hole number 3. In addition, we carried out some improvements on other parts of the golf course, such as renewing the practice area; enlarging some drainage zones; repairing various vegetal ground layers, as well as some paths; increasing the irrigation system in needy areas; and even clean up a lot of rough areas. With all that, we hope to largely improve the game experience at Golf Son Quint.

Son Quint ist ein normaler Golfplatz. Die Grüns sind sehr schnell. Der Pflegezustand könnte besser sein. Die Golfbuggys sind sehr alt und die Lenkung ist teilweise ausgeschlagen. Die Bedienung im Restaurant ist langsam und nicht sehr freundlich.

Wir haben Son Quint nun bereits mehrfach gespielt (2017,2018 & 2020). Den Platz kann man aufgrund des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses bedenkenlos spielen. Im Vergleich zu den von uns bisher gespielten Plätzen auf Mallorca kann Son Quint in Punkto Pflegezustand allerdings nicht mithalten. De greens daarentegen zijn geonduleerd en snel dus te vaak een drie put gemaakt. De prijzen zijn deze winter aantrekkelijk en het weer is top - 20 graden met zon. Goed te spelen baan; zelfs voor een beginner. Niet al te moeilijk te spelen. Sommige holes waren heel wijd en breed, andere wat smaller. Ze waren, ondanks de warmte netjes en goed onderhouden. Hole 6 (volgens mij) had een prachtig ver gezicht over de baai van Palma en de zee. Clubhuis heeft een zwembad dat heel leuk is voor kids om zich te vermaken.

Gepflegter Platz, das Fairway (vermute Rollrasen) war leider nicht gemäht. Interessante Bahnen vor allem die 12, ein Par 3 mit 150 m über ein Wasserhindernis. Einige lange Par 4 bergauf sehr anspruchsvoll bei starkem Gegenwind. Die Dame im Pro Shop war sehr freundlich. Wir haben Twilight gespielt, gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
