Mooie uitdagende baan en snelle green ondanks de nattigheid van afgelopen week en zeker een topper van de regio en ik kom zeker nog een keer terug.
De bewijzering van De holes mag beter.

I love this place. The course is great. The atmosphere in the club house is relaxed and friendly. Goodbye formality, hello classy and comfortable. Great staff, good food, great practice area and short game area. Only thing needs improvement is MY golf?

Heel erg moeilijke baan, maar we hebben er toch van genoten. De baan is zeer mooi onderhouden en goed te bespelen. Aangezien het de enige Seve-course is in de UK is het een unieke baan die je zeker eens gespeeld moet hebben!

Another tournament at the Shire. The course becomes more and more irritating. There is something wrong with the layout. I cannot put my finger on it.
Is it because of the long grass in the rough that I lost too much balls. Which naturally ruined the score with penalty shots.
Is it of something else.

Het jaarlijkse Loudmouth tournooi werd op deze baan georganiseerd.
Dit is een echte engelse Posh-baan. Het is een baan die door Seve is ontworpen. Persoonlijk vondt ik hem niet echt bijzonder. De omgeving is wel spectaculair met wijdse uitzichten. Helaas komen er periodiek helicopters van de engelse luchtmacht voorbij. Hun basis ligt er vlakbij.

Een mooie golfbaan ontworpen door Seve Ballesteros en dat heeft hij goed gedaan. Met een hoog handicap is de baan lastig te spelen. Elke hole is een nieuwe uitdaging. Op 12 holes is er water in het spel. Hole 18, de signature hole is geweldig. We hopen er nog een keer een ronde te kunnen lopen. Vriendelijke prijs voor een prachtige baan.

Masters Course
I played "The Shire" last Thursday. Wednesday it had been closed due to the dreadful lashing the south of England had taken. There were a few bits of surface water and a few bunker puddles but apart from that the course was in great condition considering. The greens were firm and quick. The welcome was warm and the guys in the Pro-shop were super helpful. Some great holes…
