About Loch Lomond Golf Club

Renowned as one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world, Loch Lomond hugs the banks of the stunning Scottish loch and offers a truly unique parkland challenge with spectacular views of wild mountainous backdrops set alongside magnificent views of the loch. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1993, Loch Lomond is consistently ranked the best inland course in Great Britain. Home to the Scottish Open between 1996 and 2010, Loch Lomond is hugely popular among the world’s top players. Loch Lomond´s sister course Dundonald Links which is open to visitors will follow in its footsteps when it hosts the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and will also welcome the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open in 2017.

Dit is een baan waar je een keer gespeeld MOET hebben. Hier lijkt het golf uitgevonden. Service is absoluut top en Willy, 'the lockerroom attendant', is fantastisch. De lodges zijn ook super. Het ontbreekt je aan niets. Jammer dat een groot aantal fairways het vele water niet kunnen verwerken. Hier wordt echter aan gewerkt. Helaas waren 4 holes in groot onderhoud.

This is an outstanding club with a beautiful golf course. The club has so much to offer and the golf is the pinnacle of the offerings. The golf course is immaculately manicured (well done Green’s keeping team). The course layout is exceptional with a lot of variety in the golf holes. This is truly a golf experience and we feel lucky to have been able to play this gem!

Na de weidse kaalheid van Dundonald Links mag ik, uitgenodigd door een lid van mijn thuisclub, spelen op de schitterende baan van Loch Lomond. I was lucky enough to get an invite from a friend to go and play a couple of rounds and stay over night at the Lodge. As far as a guest experience it doesn’t get much better than this place. What an amazing property this is! The golf course itself has nothing to do with Scottish links courses as this is quite typical parkland golf course built on the shores of Loch Lomond.
