Yas Links Abu Dhabi: Reviews

One of the best links courses I've ever played.

This is a fabulous links course in Abu Dhabi with grassy dunes, tight fairways, very undulating greens and some excellent water side carries. This is NOT EASY and requires technical ability. When we played (Feb 20) there was quite a lot of remedial work going on with a number of fairways however tees and greens were excellent.

It was my first time playing this course, I did play Sadiyaat a few years back and in comparison, I liked this one better. The Clubhouse, pro-shop and practice facilities are all in good shape, well maintained and clean, the pro-shop has a good selection of branded and unbranded materials. Yas Links is een mooie open baan met links-kenmerken. De baan lag er prima bij, wel op enkele plaatsen op de fairways onderhoud en wat droge plekken (zomerschade). Played again the academy, (like Every year since 2016,) looks like the fairways are a bit in bad conditions compared with the last time I have been there. Wir haben bereits das zweite Jahr in Folge diesen Golfplatz ausgewählt. Dieses Jahr,2019, ist der Platz in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Sehr schöner Platz an einer Lagoune... immer Wasser mit im Spiel... nicht überlaufen... Leihschläger absolut sehr gut kein altes Material.. Personal sehr freundlich...

Kurzurlaub in Abu Dhabi Super Service da ich für einen Tag vorher eine online-Buchung hatte, aber versehentlich einen Tag später kam, konnte ich trotzdem zur gewünschten Zeit spielen. War dann mit einem Clubmitglied auf der Runde. Sehr nette Flight.

Probably the best roll in greens I ever played. Lot of movement in greens and fairways. A “links” like golf course that is fun to play. Probably not in my top, but still a good option.

Played here early febr 2019. Booked via Leadingcourses (best deal we could find on the internet). Still rather expensive for Dutch standards. The clubhouse and Pro shop is beautiful. Na ruim een jaar was ik weer terug op Yas Links. Blijft toch een van mijn favoriete golfbanen. Ondanks dat het natuurlijk een echte aangelegde baan is voelt het niet zo door de natuurlijke omgeving van het water en mangroves. Baan is goed onderhouden met snelle greens. if you are visiting UAE, you have to try this course... it is fantastic! of all of the local (Abu Dhabi) courses, it is by far the best. it really does feel like a proper links, albeit within Disneyland perhaps (beside Yas F1 circuit and Ferrari World). Nomaal speelde we deze baan maar 1 keer maar omdat we zo onder de indruk waren hebben we ze nogmaals gespeeld ondanks de werken die uitgevoerd werden prikken rough geen problemen gehad met greenkeepers fairway en greens lagen super gras iets langer maar dat is normaal voor de tijd van het jaar geweldige lay out prachtige club.

Prachtige linksbaan, heel goed onderhouden met uitdagende afslagen over water Hier en daar smalle fairways Oefenfaciliteit is goed, maar net iets minder dan van de National Golfcourse. Perfect onderhouden, zeer plezierig te spelen voor hoge en lage hcp’ers.

Geweldig alles is ingevlogen een hele leuke links baan heb er 2 keer gespeeld op mijn vakantie. Lekker ontbijtje. Ferarri World als uitzicht en een het aangelegde yas beach leuk.
