La Rocca course at Golf del Ducato stands in the heart of the Food Valley, where golf and gastronomy blend to form a magival union. Founded in 1985 on the outskirts of the Boschi di Carrega reserve and just 10 minutes from Parma, it stands amid oak and acacia woods, splendid small lakes and gently rolling hills that gives life to an extraordinary parkland of 18 holes with unforgettable views. The club restaurant is renowned for its traditional regional dishes and local specialities, focusinng in particular on two excellences that are famous worldwide - Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Parma ham.
Initially part of the landed estate of the Farnese family and then of the Bourbons, the city of Parma offers the exlusive charm that exist where history and culture have marked the passing of time.

Nella provincia di Parma confermano la proverbiale simpatia degli emiliani, accoglienti ed ospitali. Il campo è di media lunghezza e molto ben curato anche nei dettagli, tee carotati di recente ma tutto molto in ordine. Green belli e insidiosi. La club house è piccolina ma molto carina. Qualità del bar e ristorante superlativa (confermano le tradizioni della città).

Impressione generale che non mi ha convinto. Clubhouse e spogliatoi discreti. Buono il campo pratica. Disegno del campo che presenta molti dogleg. Ma manutenzione del campo assolutamente insufficiente. Fairway durissimi con palla che non si ferma mai, green brutti e tenuti male. Peccato perché nonostante le difficoltà che presenta potrebbe essere un bel campo accessibile …

Non sanno che con la Golfhäftet card lo sconto sul Green fee e’ il50% e non il 20%. A parte ciò il campo e’ curatissimo è molto divertente.

Geen verkeerde golfbaan om een keer te spelen. Wat erg tegenvalt zijn de T-boxen. Die zijn echt slecht. Aardig clubhuis, maar gastvrijheid is minder dan we gewend zijn in Italië.
