Golf Club Enghien

Lors de la réservation, la veille, personne ne nous dit que les troleys sont interdit m^me avec Hedges.

Practice distribution de balle contre 1 € ou carte de 10 seaux, ok mais impossible d'avoir des pièces de 1€ au secrétariat d'où obligation d'acheter une carte de 10 €. Balles de practice non lavées, pleines de boues. Non respect du souhait de l'heure de départ. terrain bruyant quand le vent vient de l'autoroute mitoyenne. beaucoup de place inondées. Il aurait été préférable de fermé le terrain ou d'adapter le prix. Première expérience décevante.

Mooie baan, met voldoende uitdaging aan bunkers, water en geaccidenteerd terrein. Ligt pal aan de snelweg dus enig geluid is hoorbaar. Hole 18 is een aparte opwaartse green over water aan het einde van een par 5.

Heel mooi onderhouden terrein en uitdagende baan, vooral de laatste 9 holes zij niet te onderschatten. Veel en interessant gelegen bunkers en grote waterpartijen. Wel een wat fysieke baan, door de vele hellingen en zeker door de lengte.

We played a competition with our homeclub at Enghien and the Arenberg is such a fantastic course. The faiways are super and they added a couple of years ago 9 new holes to make a 18 hole course and those new holes are super challenging. The 16 is one where "no guts no glory" is right on its place, a par 3 with just you and water inbetween the flag. The 18 starts gentle, but the uphill battle with 4 bunkers and water inbetween asks from you the utmost attention, right to the end. Although you get some noice from the highway, the Arenberg is a delight to play. Precision is key! Clubhouse and practice are located in historic buildings and the welcome was very warm. Challenging but a delight to play!

Nice golfcourse, very ondulatid fairways who make the course difficult. Very good greens. Clubhouse a little bit old, but verry friendly service. Enough parking space. Small wooden golfshop. Good price/offer vallue.
