The Formosa Golf Resort's golf course is surrounded by lush farmland and stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf, and is about 38 minutes from downtown Auckland or 35 minutes from the airport at Manukau. The course was designed by golfing legend Sir Bob Charles and is modeled on the Augusta National, home of the US Masters and was the venue for the 1998 New Zealand Open. The golf course caters for golfers of every ability. The practice facilities include an all weather under cover driving range.

Had high hopes stunning looking and from the tee-box impressed with many of the holes very Quality looking course. very large open feel
Sadly I played during an average Auckland winter so had their usually masses of rain so course was so wet the ball would plug nearly every shot I ended up giving up after Nine not enjoyable.. would love to play in a drier time of the year as Auckland seems a no go for winter golf... but certainly has potential.

Parcours en très mauvais état en fin de saison. Bunkers à l'abandon, fairways en mauvais état, greens souvent dans un état déplorable et imputable.. jolis paysages, bien arboré...
Dommage de laisser ce parcours autant se détériorer.

Veel Koreanen die komen stage lopen of in opleiding zijn.
Weinig volk op de golfbaan.
Lange afstanden tussen de tees.
Mooie huisjes om te overnachten met speciale aanbiedingen.
