The Doha Golf Club was the first turf course in Qatar and was designed by Peter Harradine in 1997. With a distance of 7437 yards from the champions tees and a maximum slope of 134, it is suitable for all levels of players. A beautiful clubhouse with a well-stocked ProShop stands out positively. If you need a golf cart, you should play in the morning as the buggies need to be charged in the afternoon as the batteries of the vehicles are currently old. The condition of the course is at best average, not only is there too much sand in the many bunkers, but most of the greens are a patchwork. The green fee prices are out of all proportion to the current quality of the greens and also the whole layout would benefit from a complete overhaul, as the course is very rare for highlights. It is really not surprising that the venue for the Qatar Masters 2020 will be the new Education City Golf Club, as the star of the Doha Golf Club seems to have gone out.

Mit einer Entfernung von 7437 Yards von den Champions Abschlägen und einem maximalen Slope von 134 ist er für alle Spielstärken geeignet. Ein schönes Clubhaus mit einem gut assortierten ProShop sticht positiv hervor. Falls Sie einen Golfcart benötigen, so sollten Sie am Vormittag spielen, da die Buggys am Nachmittag aufgeladen werden müssen, da die Batterien der Fahrzeuge derzeit alt seien. Der Zustand des Platzes ist allenfalls durchschnittlich, es hat nicht nur zu viel Sand in den vielen Bunkern, sondern die meisten Greens sind ein einziges Flickwerk. Die Greenfee Preise stehen in keinem Verhältnis zur derzeitigen Qualität der Grüns und auch das gesamte Layout würde eine gesamte Überarbeitung gut tun, denn so ist der Platz sehr rar an Höhepunkten. Es ist wirklich nicht erstaunlich, dass der Austragungsort für das Qatar Masters 2020 der neue Education City Golfclub sein wird, denn der Stern des Doha Golf Club scheint erloschen zu sein.

Sehr schöne Anlege, Nachmittags coole Preise, würde dort immer wieder gerne spielen.

Un cadre de reve au milieu des buildings. Le club house est juste exceptionnel! Le parcours est magique a la hauteur de la reputation de ce golf. Le seul bemol serait que les greens etaient un peu lents... je vous le recommande vivement.

Sehr schöner Platz... würde ich immer empfehlen.
