Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Mount Juliet golf course first opened in 1991 with a friendly match between Jack Nicklaus and Christy O'Connor Snr. Since then the course has established itself as a premier venue for top professional and leisure golfers from around the world. This was highlighted when Mount Juliet hosted top golf players such as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia and Pádraig Harrington for the WGC American Express Golf Championship in September of 2002 and again in 2004.

Très beau parcours parfaitement entretenu; paysages superbes du centre de l Irlande, parcours challenging, long; prix un peu élevé pour les visiteurs (50-80) mais personnel tres aimable; vaut le detour.

A very big golf course. The golf course plays very long and is made for the big Tournaments, though all the par fours, fives and the two longer par 3s offer bale out options for your approach shots you have to hit the ball well around here. I found the First to holes nice and playable good openers, they ease you in for what is to follow. The 3rd hole is a cracking par 3…

Another Gem... a great championship course on which Tiger Woods won the World Golf Championship in 2002, and it has only improved. Holes 2-5 are beautiful, but the entire back 9 is just wonderful and a serious test. definately worth a detour if you are anywhere within 100km.
