Cerrado del Águila Golf is undoubtedly one of the best 9-hole courses in Andalusia. It is not very common to find a course with these characteristics, with so much disparity of obstacles and a variety of distances. It forces you to use all the clubs in the bag, with three par 3's, four par 4's and two par 5's.

6. Los Naranjos Golf Club

Los Naranjos is a typical Robert Trent Jones Sr. design with generous fairways and strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The greens, with Penn A4-grass, are spacious and slightly undulated. The tees are long and have four markers: red, yellow, white and black with course lengths starting from 5.054 metres and reaching 6.564 metres at its longest. Since its opening in 1977, Los Naranjos has been the host of several major competitions, including the Spanish Open, and is ranked one of the best golf courses in Spain. In 2005 and again in 2008, Los Naranjos was voted “Course of the Year” on the Costa del Sol.

La Quinta Golf & Country Club has a 27 hole golf course with 3 different combinations available. It was designed by Ryder Cup player Manuel Piñero and is located 5 minutes from Puerto Banús. La Quinta Golf is one of the most well-known golf courses in La Costa del Sol, standing out for the firmness and speed of the greens as well as the caring service provided by the staff. The tee times include driving range balls for warm-up 30 minutes prior to tee-off time.

Situated in the foothills of the Sierra de la Almijara mountain range, in Andalusia, Baviera Golf Club has 18 terrific holes. The main feature of the first 9 holes is the fairly even terrain, where water comes into play on 4 holes and makes the 4th hole especially complicated. On the next 9 holes, water intervenes mainly on the 10th and 17th. At Baviera Golf, the par-3s and par-5s deserve a special mention due to their level of difficulty.
