New golf courses in Europe to put on your bucket list in 2022

There is no real shortage of golf courses in the world. According to the R&A, there are more than 38,500 golf courses to be found in 209 of the world’s 249 countries. Many of these courses are located in the top ten golfing countries: the United States, Japan, Canada, England, Australia, Germany, France, Republic of Korea, Sweden and Scotland. Although the construction of new golf courses has slowed considerably, this does not mean future bucket list courses aren’t still being developed. In this article, we highlight a few exciting new golf courses and course renovations in Europe. Some of them opened in 2021, others still need to open officially.
