WINSTONlinks

The trademark golf course at WINSTONgolf is the 18-hole WINSTONlinks course. It is one of the most spectacular golf courses in Europe and is considered a popular sporting challenge among players. It has been recognised as the No. 1 course in Germany several times. Created by golf course architect David J. Krause, the inland links course is modelled on the Scottish dune landscapes by the sea.

Up to ten-metre high dunes, which tower imposingly in front of the woods, a primaeval planting of gorse and sea buckthorn, as well as deep bunkers, characterise the landscape according to the Scottish model and give it its spectacular effect.

This year, WINSTONlinks will be the tournament venue for the WINSTONgolf Senior Open (15 - 17 September 2023). This year the tournament reaches a new dimension: For the first time on German soil, the stars of the Legends Tour will compete with the top players of the Ladies European Tour. Admission will be free for spectators on all three days of the event, allowing them to experience stars of the golfing scene within reach on the driving range and later on the course. Sufficient parking spaces are available free of charge.

WINSTONopen

The resort experience at WINSTONgolf is complemented by the 18-hole championship WINSTONopen course. Golf course architect Holger Rengstorf has designed it with great attention to detail. Opened in 2002, the 6,305-meter parkland course is characterised by the rolling hills of the local terminal moraine landscape.

Recently, the challenging course with its well-defended greens had a redesign of the bunkers. Through sensitive and intelligent interventions, the number of bunkers was reduced from 80 to 49 - with this, the WINSTONopen offers an ultra-modern, forward-looking style and provides the appropriate answer to the increased playing needs of golfers.

An innovative experience

WINSTONgolf stands for exceptional course quality at the highest level and continuous improvement. Unique in Germany is the equipment of the fairways with autonomous silent fairway mowers. The playing experience for golfers remains at the usual high level because the mowers are silent and with their simple design the view of the breathtaking nature remains free and promises pure relaxation.

More unforgetable moments

The golf course offers plenty of space for more unforgettable golfing moments, such as the par 3 WINSTONkranich course, an autonomous driving range and a restaurant with 3 terraces overlooking the WINSTONopen course. Culinary delights range from regional products with European accents to delicious vegan alternatives.
