Väldigt varierande och relativt svår och utmanade bana

Mycket trevligt klubbhus/restaurang.

Ordning och reda genomsyrar upplevelsen på Hills.

Bra käk och trevligt bemötande kombineras med en bana som kräver fina slag.

Närheten till Göteborg är också ett plus.

När jag tog med några kolleger till banan fanns det några som funderade på medlemskap och bättre betyg kan man väl inte få.

Lite minus för att säsongen ofta startar ganska sent (i alla fall med en skånings mått mätt).

Fun but unusually challenging course with long holes, sadistic flag placements and ultra fast greens. This is a course for those that can play well. The club house and facilities are world class. Expensive, but totally worth it.

Top course in a modern Championship design, greens today slow probably are being prepared for the European Tour.. All other facilities very good.

Hills GK was designed by Arthur Hills, which is actually a good name for this course as it has quite some elevation changes. There a golf cart is certainly a good choice, also because there are several long distances from hole to hole.

Hills GK is venue for the European Tour this year and last year and that's probably a reason for them to increase the greenfree price, as 1150 SEK is pretty steep for a golfcourse in Sweden.

Very friendly staff. The GPS in the golf cart didn't work properly and as we mentioned that to a staff member out on the course, they immediately went to get another one, and a stroke saver.

The course is laid out in a rather pretty environment. There are 5 tees to choose from, so pick the right one. Plenty of waterhazard on the front nine, less of them on the back nine. Even though maintenance was going on to prepare for European Tour in August it was in very good condition and very enjoyable.

Note that in summer time courses in Sweden can be really busy. We played as a 4ball and passed another 4 ball after the halfway house and from then on pace was fine.

We took the lunch in the clubhouse. I had a pasta which was really tasty for 140 SEK. Great value for money.
