Relatively short par 68 course in the middle of a hilly woodland area about an hour from Oslo. Pace generally slow, likely because many older players struggle with walking the hills. Holes are generally very tight, surrounded by trees. Driver not necessary nor advisable on most holes, as it's wasy to go long, over-cut or over-draw into trouble. The inverted S-shaped par 5 hole 9 is the most interesting hole on a course without any big highlights. Course conditions in early May 2020 were attrocious, despite ok greens and bunkers. Most tees had almost no grass, and fairways were muddy and suffered from poor grass coverage and moss. Furthermore, there clearly were some ongoing construction works on several holes, with large mounds of recently dug earth and large areas without any grass (on fairways!). All good golf clubs in Norway would have kept closed while conditions where as poor as this, but it's understandable that some are forced to open with sub-par conditions as the golf season in Norway is so short. Highly unlikely that I'll return, as there are several much better courses to play in the Oslo region in the same price range.

Early spring round. Lots of GUR at fairways. Still full greenfee. (a bit high even when its in shape) Several blind holes marked With a Balloon on a stick if it was occupied by front players. Quick good greens.

Hyggelig men litt dyr greenfee.
