Great courses!

Drie dagen op The Belfry gespeeld en zeker niet teleurgesteld. Complex is helemaal ingesteld op groepen golfers. The Derby is een leuke en niet al te moeilijke startbaan, keurig onderhouden maar niet speciaal. Aanbieding voor 3 dagen golfen (de Derby, PGA en Brabazon) en 2 overnachtingen incl ontbijt voor €300,- was top! Wat een prachtige banen. Zelf een makkelijke baan als de Derby is al mooi om te lopen. Alles ademt golf op het resort en alles is aanwezig! Volgens jaar zeker weer.

Vorige week 3 dagen op de Belfry gegolfd. Absoluut een mooi complex om 3 dagen door te brengen. Goed hotel met alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Oefenfaciliteiten zijn netjes verzorgd (drivingrange, oefengreens, etc) en er is een academy voor diegene die willen fitten of specifiekere vragen hebben. De belfry heeft 3 golfbanen. I have been lucky to have played in the high hundreds of courses (many of the top 100 around the world) and the brabazon is definitely in my top 5. There are a few holes that you forget but that’s only really because the signature holes are ones that you will never forget! Love playing the 10th hole and having a go at the seve shot and 18th is for me one of the best fini… Più

It is too much money for what it is.

Derby: an excellent course that needs a good touch: have your wits about you! PGA: an inland links style, some good holes but a little bland for me! Whilst I was not expecting the Brabazon, I was assuming the Derby Course would be a good course. Having now played it, I can only assume it is the course they stick golf societies on and >36 handicappers. The front 9 especially is poorly laid out and poorly maintained. Truth be told, waterfalls and fountains don’t do a lot for me on a golf course. And there’s a lot of other things at The Belfry that aren't to my personal taste, but considering the 18 holes on the Brabazon objectively, individually and collectively there’s no disputing this is a good golf course. Derby is een van de drie courses die bij het Belfry hotel liggen. Waarschijnlijk minst bekende van de twee anderen maar zeker zo leuk om te spelen. De baan is redelijk kort en ligt niet bij het complex. Word met busje naar de course gebracht. service perfect. Baan toen wij er speelde was prima onderhoud, greens snel en eerlijk.

Als je een 3 daags arrangement neemt met hotel en 3 banen spelen is het een zeer faire deal. PGA National gespeeld op een dag dat de wind van de verkeerde kant kwam, zeer moeilijk te spelen. De Brabazon was dit keer veel betere ervaring dan 7 jaar geleden. Had ook te maken met de geweldige sfeer die we beleefden in het hotel , de bar en de nightclub.

Played August 2007. Course has lots of interesting holes, was very firm (given wet year) and almost played like a links course. Needed to be tidied up - in terms of course maintenance and general rubbish lying around (I know the golfers drop the litter but green keeping staff aren't picking it up either). Prachtige course. Vier keer Ryder cup locatie. Laatste keer in 2002. Normaal 140 pond. Bij vroege start 70 pond Handicap 10-20 mag alleen van geel starten Single van wit Blauw alleen de pro's. Met name hole 10 en 18 zijn spectaculair. Een belevenis om te spelen. Op dit complex zijn totaal 3 18-holes courses. Hotel met 325 kamers. In de loop van de zaterdag dat wij er ware… Più
