Campo molto divertente. Ci sono alcune buche molto interessanti e impegnative, in un’area che anticamente era un cratere vulcanico. La struttura, costituita da fabbricati storici, ha il fascino del tempo, e ne presenta alcune scomodità di accesso, ben compensate dalla bellezza del luogo e dalla gentilezza del personale. Der Platz liegt in einem Krater, die Abschläge 2 und 10 auf dem Kraterrand. Fairways gut, Semirough hoch, was die Ballsuche schwierig machte. Greens gut. Das Clubhaus liegt erhöht mit schönem Hof und herrlichem Ausblick über den gesamten Platz.

We enjoyed the golf alot. It was so beautiful and people was so relaxed. No stress at all. The only thing we missed was a restaurant with more steady lunches. It also some walk uphill to the driving range.

Da migliorare assolutamente campo pratica pitchin green(in rifacimento) variabilità nei trasferimenti dalle buche(troppa terra dura con breccia e sassolini) rough e le strade sconnesse dal parcheggio al campo pratica piene di sampietrini. Il campo è anche vero che è storico e vecchio. Ci si muove solo con ascensore per il pro shop e ristorante-bar car per andare alla buca… Meer

campo divertente migliorare la manutenzione soprattutto dei bunkers

Il disegno del percorso è molto interessante, stanno lavorando e investendo per migliorarlo. Rifatti i bunker che ora sono in ottime condizioni, i green e fairway stanno migliorando. La clubhouse è esteticamente bellissima, molto buona l'atmosfera. Il campo pratica è collocato troppo lontano e l'area approcci tenuta in pessime condizioni.

Tres bel environnement, malheureusement les fairways étaient brulés. gros problemes d arrosage je suppose Dommage car l accueil et le clubhouse sont très bien A refaire une fois les problemes résolus

Duidelijk een van de mindere golfbanen rondom Rome, waar voornamelijk door clubleden wordt gespeeld. Veel hoogteverschillen waardoor een ronde lopend zwaar is. Bij hole 18 staat een bankje, waarachter op de boom een drukknop zit: Hierop drukken betekent dat je wordt opgehaald door de caddymaster. Scheelt een zware, steile klim naar boven.

Fantastic situated golfcourse in the bottom of an old volcano crater. When we played it tree years ago the upkeep was terrible. Big bare patches with no grass... Bunkers under construction and out of play. Hopefully these problems has been taken care of now, as the course has the potential to terrific. Very good and fun layout. Bunkers need attention and tee areas could be a lot better. A beautiful course and location with some tricky holes across water. Well worth playing.

A course which hosted in March 2014 the Italian Ladies Open. We arrived on a nice, not too warm, sunny day. Nevertheless were we almost the only players on the course that morning (in the afternoon it got slightly busier). Vacker bana, bra layout, breda och långa hål, så det går att använda driver om du är långslående, bunkrarna var tyvärr i dåligt skick och fairways något blöta, annars mkt bra bana.

Information in Swedish and English En bana som jag rekommenderar er att spela. Kan tänka mig att återkomma och då hoppas jag att det har kommit sand i ALLA bunkrarna, samt att klubben fått råd att köpa in fler räfsor. Golfen in een vulkanische krater die is omgebouwd tot golfbaan volgens een ontwerp van Robert Trent Jones. Het clubhuis is een voormalig paleis van een kardinaal en de paus heeft in het nabije dorpje Castel Gandolfo zijn zomer residentie. Baan is goed onderhouden en "vriendelijk" ook voor de beginnende golfer. Vanaf het clubhuis is de hele baan te overzien die in een kom is aangelegd. De baan is op een paar holes na vlak en is goed te lopen. De lunch in het clubhuis is aan te bevelen. Gebruik wel navigatie om de baan te vinden want hij nogal verstopt.

Wij hebben een week genoten van deze baan die niet alleen gunstig en prachtig ligt (vanaf ons balkon konden we heel in de verte de Sint Pieter en de zee zien), maar ook leuk en uitdagend is. Hij ligt in een oude krater en het loopt hier en daar lekker omhoog en omlaag, met na hole 9 en 18 een uitdagende klim naar het hoger gelegen prachtige oude clubhuis. We hadden via i… Meer

Castelgandolfo is located in an old volcano crater what gives its beautiful views when you tee-off at 1 or 10. The designer was Robert Trent Jones Sr. The club house is located in a massive villa and offers a restaurant, were food is great! It's absolutely worth playing, but it's location is not easy to find. Some fairways cross each other qa bit disruptive way.
