Located on the hill of Lomada de Tecina, the course overlooks the blue ocean waters. In the words of its designer, leading British architect and writer Donald Steel, it is “the most exciting and challenging project I have ever designed and built. It is unusual because you have to climb up to the first teeing ground, and then it is downhill all the way. The views are amazing”.
The 18 Tecina Golf holes overlooking the sea measure a total of 6,343 metres from the white tees, and it is a par 71 golf course.
Fairways and greens are surrounded by a profusion of native Canary Islands vegetation, such as Canary Island spurge cactus and tabaiba shrubs, and trees bearing such fruits as banana, avocado and mango, each giving off its characteristic aroma.

Esthetiquement, superbe parcours, un véritable jardin. Se jouant à la descente, comporte des trous spectaculaires, demandant de la précision. Accueil au top dans un club house petit mais sympathique. Practice peu entretenu, mais peu utilisé. On vient surtout à la Gomera pour jouer le parcours.
Très jolie expérience.

De baan ligt in een uithoek van la Gomera. Het was een hele reis. Eerst met de boot vanuit Tenerife en dan met de auto nog 40 km door de bergen. Maar dan heb je ook wel wat. De baan ligt tegen de berg en loopt van boven naar beneden. Je wordt met een busje naar boven gebracht en begint dan het spel. Een prachtige omgeving, veel mooie bloemen en planten. Incroyable parcours tout en descente du 1er au 18ième trou (on vous emmène au 1 en voiture trafic). La vue sur l'ile de Tenerife située juste en face est extraordinaire en particulier celle de son volcan le TEÏDE. Bref paradisiaque. Le seul point noir : c'est un périple pour venir depuis Tenerife en prenant le BAC avec sa petite voiture le matin de bonne heure et trouver …

Zum ersten Tee geht es erst Mal hoch - richtig hoch. Mit Cart dauert die Fahrt mehrere Minuten, was wir zuerst nicht glauben wollten. Man spielt oft "blinde Löcher", was meist einen rechten Überraschungseffekt hat. Man spielt am Hang von oben nach unten, immer das Meer im Blick. Atemberaubend.
