Golf in France is very popular and also foreign golfers are starting to discover France as a golf destination. The French golf courses are generally well maintained. Especially the South of France is popular because of it's warm climate, but also around Paris (Île-de-France) you will find a lot of impressive French golf courses. The fact that France believes in golf is quite clear because of the successful bid and organization of the Ryder Cup in 2018 at Le Golf National. This course is owned by FFGolf (the French golf federation) and a lot of money has been invested in the new Ryder Cup course L'Albatros. In total there are 11 golf clubs in France. The best golf courses in France are: Golf de Morfontaine, Terre Blanche, Les Aisses Golf, Golf De Fontainebleau, Le Château de Taulane and Le Golf National.
