Cyprus has a climate that is ideal for golfers: more than three hundred sunny days a year, mild winters and warm summers that the sea breeze always keeps manageable. The golf offering is concentrated around Paphos in the south-west of the island, where a handful of well-maintained courses have succeeded in attracting the international golf community. Cyprus is playable year-round, though the summer months are the least attractive for intensive golf due to the heat. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most expensive periods.
