De hoeveelheid golfbanen in dit gedeelte van Ierland is indrukwekkend, om de paar minuten rijden vind je er een, en op de dag dat we wilde spelen was deze baan de enige met nog open starttijden. we wilden na een paar links banen weer een parkbaan en dat is donabate Met drie lussen van 9 holes een goed onderhouden ruime parkbaan met bomenrijen als afscheiding van de holes.âŠ

Douglas Golf Club
A really nice course in the heart of Douglas village just outside Cork. A bit steep on the price front for the calibre of course, however Douglas is renowned for being overpriced for a coffee let alone a round of golf. The course itself is simple enough, driver and a wedge most of the way around. A nice course to get the cobwebs out and shot a good score for a confidence âŠ

Macroom Golf Club
First of all, the GPS sent me on the other side of the river, but that is 5 min to drive back. The Macroom GC is full of history. From lockers to clubhouse, you can see the history everywhere.
