Highland Gate Golf and Trout Estate

This could be the nicest course I’ve ever played. It’s set amongst beautiful rolling hills, and every hole is like a postcard.

The course itself is in excellent condition from tee to green, and if you’re hitting it reasonably straight off the tee, you should be fine. If not, the rough can be challenging, but most fairways are quite wide. The greens were also in great condition. Fairly fast, but with a nice true roll.

We will definitely be playing this again in the future.

Excellent course to play. Very professional operations and lovely experience to play at such a championship course. The facilities are excellent and proshop staff is very friendly. Worth taking the time to play the course and test your game on a challenging layout. The online booking system works very well.

Superbe golf sur les collines.

Bien entretenu, panoramas superbes, parcours technique et naturel à l'opposé des nouveaux golfs Sud Africains parfois un peu aseptisée, un bonheur!

Mooie baan, mooie holes en goede vergezichten. De holes liggen een beetje los in het landschap, dus behoorlijke afstanden tussen de holes, zeker met buggy gaan! Was erg rustig. Naast de fairway in de rough zoeken op eigen risico ivm de slangen! Tenminste daar waarschuwen ze voor :).

We loved playing this course. Beautiful scenery, Some challenging holes. Very well kept and friendly staff. The food at half way was a treat.
