Tapiola Golf is a new (opened in August 2013) 18-holer inland links course. The course has been constructed on a former municipal landfill in the heart of Helsinki metropolitan area, only 15 minutes from the city center. The course is picturesque and different from any other Finnish golf courses. The layout and undulating greens have been very much appreciated by the players. The main turf is fescue making the greens pretty fast. The layout enables various strategies on each hole. We have over 90 bunkers but just a couple of water hazard (ditches).

Tapiola Golf is an 18 hole links course at Espoo. Field architect Tim Nugent has created a varied layout with a choice of game strategy. Tapiola Golf has good training areas and huge new clubhouse and pro-shop. Quite busy and reserved for visitors, and not defenately the cheapest one at capital area.

This was my first round in this course so I can not make any suggestions about improvements, everything seemd to be ok.
The nearest golf course from Helsinki. That's why it is a bit busy. A new links course nice fairways (some easy some not). Modern club house with a good restaurant and big golf store.
