Estoril Golf Club

Estoril Golf Course is 25 minutes away from Lisbon and just 3 from restaurants, hotels, casino and Estoril beach. The Estoril Championship Course started in 1929 and redesigned in 1936 by Mackenzie Ross. It is known as one of the oldest and most emblematic clubs in Portugal and where two of the Portuguese most important tournaments have been held frequently: the Portuguese Open 20 years and the Portuguese International Championship Amateur 63 years. Overlooking Estoril and the sea this 5200 meter long course is set amongst eucalyptus, mimosas and pine trees giving a uniquely colorful touch that demands excellent tactics, challenges in accuracy rather than distance. The visually stunning par 3 holes, although they vary in length, all pose particular challenges; the 4th hole (Pepper's Hole) is surrounded by pepper trees; the 8th hole (The Tea Cup) is well known due to the always challenging flag position. The Estoril golf school is recognized due to the professionalism and competency of qualified PGA Golf Professionals. Besides individual golf lessons, clinics, weekly intensive programs the Academy also offers Digital Video Swing Analyses and Professional Club Fitting.Mer
