Porto Santo Golf, designed by golf champion Severiano Ballesteros, crosses the island from the dunes to the dramatic basalt cliffs. It offers a perfect combination - natural beauty and a challenging game of golf. The course was designed to blend into the landscape and to minimize the impact on the environment. Porto Santo has a 18-hole par 72 golf course. It is characterized by two distinct areas: the southern loop, traditionally American, is dotted with lakes and requires a long and precise game; The North loop is developed on top of fantastic cliffs. There is also a 9 hole pitch-and-putt course and a driving range. The club house is a success of modern design, but blends harmoniously into the landscape, with its limestone walls, natural wood and modern furniture wicker.
