Royal Cromer for golfers touring is a Must!

Wunderbare Mischung aus Clifftop-, Heather- und Links-Course. Sehr Gastfreundlich. Meist breite Fairways und offenes Gelände, dass jedoch immer mal wieder blinde Schläge erfordert. Tolles abwärts zu spielendes Par 3, fast ein Inselgrün umrahmt von Bunkern. Wir hatten einen tollen Tag mit nur mäßigem Wind, was das Spiel sehr erleichtert hat. Klassische Clubhausküche.

Een 128 jaar oude baan/club met spectaculaire uitzichten (op de baan en op zee) waarvoor soms wat geklauterd moet worden.

Zeer hoog onderhoudsniveau en lang niet altijd eenvoudig te spelen. Een uitdaging! Veel bunkers (ook pot) met langharige "kuifen" bovenop.

Het clubhuis en bediening komt wat klunzig over wat je wel vaker op Engelse clubs tegenkomt.

Een feest om te spelen. Jammer dat de drivingrange niet ter plekke is.

As you might expect of this clifftop course spectacular views can be found from many parts of the property and there’s a really good mix of fun and challenging holes to tackle along the way. It boasts many features that you would expect to find on a coastal layout with sandy hills, grassy valleys and an abundance of gorse.

The final six holes at Cromer is undoubtedly the best third as we now embark upon the highest section of the course. The signature 14th heads towards the lighthouse where, after a semi-blind drive, the fairway sweeps to the left and for the first time we see some low level ground movement in the terrain reminiscent of true links golf.
