Quinta do Vale Golf

Underrated course. Great view of the course and Portugal Spain border bridge from the clubhouse. Greens were pretty good. If you catch the course on a windy day it will be a strong challenge. Friendly staff and decent price for a round.

Prachtige baan, uitzicht is fantastisch aan de rivier en de brug naar Spanje. Mooie holes, veel hoogteverschillen, er is regelmatig water waar je overheen moet of langs speelt. Is lopend goed te doen af en toe wel pittig! hole 17 mooie dogleg van boven naar beneden ook hole 18 mooie clothing hole.

Mooi gelegen golfbaan, veel water, goed nadenken bij elke slag i.v.m. hindernissen.

Vandaag een rondje gelopen op deze baan. Het is een pittige baan vol uitdagingen. Hij ligt er prachtig bij op de bunkers na. Die worden zo nat gehouden dat er in sommige zelfs nog water blijft staan. Un très beau parcours de golf. Played here years ago. Since then the course has improved in terms of maintenance. Fairways and greens good (only green of hole 4 has some real issues, but the club knows this), tees were among the best we played during our trip where we played 8 courses. Quinta do Vale is a Seve Ballesteros design, so expect a lot of risk/reward decisions and it has 6 par 5,6 par 4 and 6… Meer

Mooie baan 6 maal par 3/4/5 soms erg lange holes met steeds goed overzicht en informatie goede routing en zeer snelle greens was wel even wennen als je net uit Nederland hier je eerste wedstrijd speel.

When you are in the neighbourhood go to Quinta do Vale! We recieved a personal and warm reception, excellent service, great hospitality. The course and the maintenance of fairways, paths and greens can be much improved. But the clubhouse and the 19 th hole have a great price value ratio.

I played this course last year and walked off after 9 holes. Returned to give it another chance after Mário said it had improved immensely. He wasn’t wrong. In great condition and you can see the improvements already made and the ongoing work. Highly commended. Great SEVE design. Classic 6,6,6 and no weak holes.
