About Mooipoort Golf Club
Mooipoort is a 3101 metre for men and 2553 for ladies, 18 hole golf course with 29 separate tee-boxes (ladies & mens) and 18 greens. It's situated north east of Pretoria on the R573 / Moloto road. The golf course is situated in the Roodeplaat / Dinokeng meander. The golf course was established some 18 years ago and changed hands in March 2008. The new owners managed to improve the greens and fairways to a good standard. Mooipoort offers a licensed clubhouse were tired golfers can relax at the pub. There are also braai's so golfers and their families can make the day a nice relaxing one with a typical South African braai. The clubhouse can also be booked for more formal functions of up to 200 people.

In Kameeldrift-East Gauteng bij Pretoria ligt de bijzondere golfbaan Mooipoort. Bijzonder omdat ze uit hoofdzakelijk par 3 en par 4 holes bestaat (Par 62) met tricky putting greens die tussen de bomen door of over de bomen heen worden aangespeeld. Een aardige uitdaging voor iedere golfer maar daarmee niet gemakkelijker. Reserveren is niet nodig. Dat de leden van gezelligheid houden bewijst de website waar ze zelf zeggen; "A quaint little golf club with a drinking problem".

Het is een grappige par 3 / 4 baan. De holes zijn mooi in elkaar verweven. Bijzonder gastvrij.
