Champagne Sports Resort

Champagne Sports Resort golf course is in immaculate condition but sadly the Pro who is also the green keeper was busy on the course so I had no chance to commend him personally. The greens are fast and true, fairways cut immaculately, tees in excellent condition and markings around the course good and easy to navigate for the first time golfer at Champagne. The carts are petrol and have a GPS which is very useful.

The views of the Drakensberg are spectacular.

A note: for those whose partners do not play golf, the thatched chalets are available for rental and there is much to do for partners and children so 2 or 3 rounds is not out of the question!

Prachtige golfbaan in de Drakensbergen. Ook te spelen zonder introductie. 1e keer veel greenkeeping in de baan waardoor rumoerig. Vandaag heerlijk rustig. Mooie fairways en snelle greens. Prachtige vergezichten.

Mooie baan in Kwazulu Natal. Goede service en vriendelijk personeel. Weinig bijzonderheden. Buggy's rijden op diesel.

The staff is VERY professional and friendly. There is always someone at hand to assist you. Some tee boxes are elevated above the river which makes teeing off spectacular!

The club could perhaps consider putting up signs to indicate where the 1st and 10th Tees are.

Lovely course with some wide fairways. The course is very well maintained. The view from the clubhouse is spectacular.
