About Durban Country Club

A course steeped in history and tradition, Durban Country Club boasts the unique claim of being the only course on the African continent to be rated in the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World by Golf Magazine USA. It is also rated in the Top 5 golf courses in South Africa by Golf Digest SA. A combination of lush coastal vegetation, sand dunes and stunning views of the Indian Ocean make this course one of the most unique, and challenging, in the world. One of the defining characteristics of Durban Country Club are the massive undulations on the fairways, especially noticeable on the 5th, 8th and 17th holes. Our International Membership will allow residents outside the borders of South Africa to now become a welcomed member of our Club and also enjoy the many benefits of being a part of this wonderful institution. Prachtige golfbaan. Heeft wel iets weg van de Haagsche. Onderhoud perfect, greens snel maar fair. Koste wel wat extra slagen:) enige minpunt was de kustweg die je soms zag en hoorde. Aanrader.

Mooie en afwisselende golfbaan midden in het centrum van Durban helaas konden wij maar vijf Hols spelen want er brak noodweer los en moesten van de baan af en was ook de rest van die dag gesloten.

Heerlijke golfbaan prachtig onderhouden verrassende holes. Helaas langs een drukke snelweg. En, geen geld 56 euro voor 2 pers + buggy. Bij vroege start nog goedkoper. Prima restaurant met vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader!

Tolles Layout mit vielen erhöhten Abschlägen. Anspruchsvoll zu spielen. Leider waren die gelben Abschläge gesperrt und die weißen des Öfteren bei den Damen auf der gleichen teebox. Das ist eine Unart um möglichst viele Leute über den Platz zu bekommen. Man spielt dann einen 6100 m Platz mit vielleicht 5500 m.
