Selborne Hotel, Spa & Golf Estate

Entworfen wurde diesen Parklandkurs am Meer von Denis Barker, einem der ursprünglichen Eigentümer von Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel. Bei den meisten Löchern ist auf diesem eher kurzen 18-Loch Parcour Wasser ein herausragendes Merkmal, daneben gibt es viele hängende, breite Fairways. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist sehr schön und lenkt von den Privatvillen entlang der Bahnen ab. Neben Afrikas grösstem Putting Green liegt die sehr schöne Driving Range. Ein Golfcart kann empfohlen werden.

This seaside park course was designed by Denis Barker, one of the original owners of Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel. Most of the holes on this rather short 18-hole course have water as an outstanding feature, along with many wide hanging fairways. The sea view is very beautiful and distracts from the private villas along the courses. Next to Africa's largest putting green is the beautiful driving range. A golf cart can be recommended.

This 18 holes par 72 golf course which borders a dense indigenous forest with wild life and birds is a nice place for a stop in the KZN south area. Nice views and wind from the ocean makes the course tricky to play and need your attention Nearly all the holes has some water insight or to cross add the bunkers and the wind and drivers are for sure not always the right club Greens are nice and not to difficult so good putting can safe some shots. Maintenance is good and ensures that you have a nice 18 holes play. Nice restaurant facilities and staff will make sure you enjoy the 19 hole too.

Genoten op deze afwisselende baan. Niet erg lange holes maar tactisch spelen is advies. Onderhoud netjes, strategische hindernissen en mooie goed te lezen greens. Uitzicht is erg mooi en ook al staan er prive woningen langs de holes zijn ze niet hinderlijk. Aanrader als Je hier verblijft in de omgeving. 2 personen met buggie €45!

Absolutely the most beautiful golf course we played in South Africa. Challenging but not impossible even for average players. Some incredible blind holes and very well maintained. And not crowded at all as the golf courses in the western Cape. The price was very good. Around 18 euro for a round. It is worth a detour as they say for a restaurant!
