Paarl Golf Club is situated in a picturesque valley in the heart of the Winelands on the outskirts of South Africa’s third-oldest town, Paarl. The course, first laid out on the banks of the Berg River in the 1950s, was carefully redesigned and extended in the last ten years by noted golf course designers Danie Obermeyer and David Frost. David Frost, a Paarl native, Tour professional and prominent winemaker in the area, has brought experience gained on both the US and European professional golf tours together with local knowledge to enhance the design of the course.

Le parcours de Paarl a beaucoup évolué, et en bien.
J'ai joué ce parcours il y a plus de 10 ans, l'évolution est remarquable.
Encore peu ouvert sur l'extérieur; on reste "Afrique du Sud"; cela peu avoir son charme, si les "locaux" jouent le jeu de l'acceuil
Parcours très agréable, bien entretenu.

Prachtige golfbaan, goed onderhouden. Personeel clubhuis supervriendelijk.

Prachtige geaccidenteerde baan in een volgroeide estate met veel bomen, diverse waterpartijen en fraaie aanplant rondom de aangrenzende woningen. Buitengewoon mooi landschap rondom, hoge bergenpieken en een prachtig zicht op de Paarlrots en het taalmonument. Ondanks de zomer mooie groene fairways en prima greens. Koelwatervoorzieningen door de baan alsook toiletgebouw. Uitstekende paden en correcte geleidingen, goede en mooie bruggen. Veel, heel veel vogels.

9 holes gespeeld. Leuke afwisselende baan. Niet te moeilijk. Huurclubs van zeer goede kwaliteit.
