Heard so much about this course and thought I had to experience it, well worth it a lovely layout. Greens were running well and greens staff working hard.
Clubhouse was good had a beer and sandwich a good day out, will come back.

Golf course routing is very interesting, six par threes but all very tough. This is a "Braid" course and I although set very much in an urban location at times you would think that you were in the country.
You do have to cross the Greenford Road twice but we hardly noticed that.
Played after the recent very wet weather and the greens and tees were great. It was raining when we played but still dry underfoot. Can see that the greens staff are busy clearing undergrowth and working on steps, paths etc - great to see them out even in the rain.
We had few pints in the bar upstairs and chatted to the members, who advised us to return in the summer when the fairways become fast and running
Looking to return in when the weather improves to see the course playing like a links.

West Middlesex Golf Club
West Middlesex Golf Club is very proud of it's history, we were established in 1891 and celebrated the 125th Anniversary in 2016 which makes us the oldest club in Middlesex. The course was originally designed by Willie Park Jnr and in 1910 redesigned by the legendary five times Open Champion James Braid. Braid’s legacy is an outstanding parkland course, with an abundance of natural woodlands and also having free draining soil and superb rolling greens. This is truly a very special club and a place where old and new friends meet together, where special memories are formed and our staff are always on hand to offer you a comfortable environment where you can relax, socialise, have fun, entertain friends and colleagues and to enjoy what we believe to be the best golf course in London
