Uitdagende linkscourse die mede door de wind en lastige potbunkers een uitdaging is. Zeer de moeite waard.

Een heerlijke baan om te spelen. De fairways mogen beter, maar de greens zijn super top. Zeer uitdagend. Tijdens de 2e 9 stak de wind behoorlijk op en zorgde voor een extra dimensie aan het spel.
Komende uit Nederland een prima eerste stop voor een ronde. Klein clubhuis zonder pretenties. Baan is fraai gelegen in de duinen. Sommige holes hebben uitzicht over de zee. Teeboxen zijn mooi en goed onderhouden. Fairways hebben fors geleden onder de droogte van vorig jaar, Greens zijn strak en eerlijk.
Goswick is possibly the very finest links course on England's east coast. It can boast subtle dog-legs wonderfully searching par 4s and has sufficient length overall to test young Turks with the latest in up to date equipment. Arguably the short holes although jolly good are just a shade weak. But in the main this is a superb links and deserves the attention of every golfing enthusiast. It is full of variety very scenic and incredibly is set in a sunshine spot. The clubhouse is old fashioned and symptomatic of a Club that is relatively remote and not wealthy. But it is highly serviceable all the same. Any golfer bound for Scotland should set aside a day to come and play for this is memorable.

What a fantastic golf course. Super fast greens that would be tough on a normal day become very challenging in the gale that we played it in. Lots of fun down wind but in to & across wind it was tough! The layout makes good use of the land & the dunescape makes hitting the right parts of the fairways & approaches important. A few blind shots but nothing that spoils the overall experience.
As an added bonus the view out to sea & down the coast towards Lindisfarne are stunning.
