Golf Club St. Johann-Alpendorf

This is actually not an 18 hole golf course as it consists of 9-hole Blue course and 9-hole par-3 Orange course.

Blue course is a beautiful 9-hole layout with some very good holes, like uphill par-4's 3rd and 6th, downhill par-5 4th and finishing downhill par-4 9th. The course is a real pleasure to play.

Orange is nice par-3 golf course and it is very challenging as some holes are quite long and they have small greens so all in all a very good iron and short game practice facility.

The course was in very good condition with very nice fairways and roughs, the greens were also nice but a bit on a slow side.

Even though the club house is quite small the pro-shop has all the necessities and the lunch in the restaurant was also very tasty. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Wir haben nur den Orange teil gespielt, sehr kurze Löcher, Driver kannst du im Auto lassen. Gut gepflegt, bei loch 4 bitte auf Strom Maste achten, nicht zu hoch spielen, sonst verlierst du die Richtung:-) Driving Range Bälle sind meines Erachtens etwas Teuer. Bitte beachten, dass man nicht mit Karten zahlen kann. Auch beim überqueren der Straße vom Clubhaus zum Golfplatz ist acht zu achten da es über eine befahrene Bundesstraße geht.

Tolles Panorama mit Alpenblick auf dem Platz. Sehr gepflegter Platz. Etwas nervig das rough, wenn der Ball dort landet. Kaum Chancen, den verlorenen Ball u finden. Abwechslungsreiche Löcher, wellige Landschaft teilweise. Duschgelegenheiten etwas provisorisch, aber vorhanden und sauber.

Interessanter Platz, trickreiche Bahnen für alle Spielstärken geeignet, leicht wellige Fairways, gut beschilderte Löcher. Ein neuer Platz der sich immer wieder innovativ verbessert.
