Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně

Een van de beste golfbanen van Tsjechië. Wat een onzin. De fairways allemaal onspeelbaar. De grond is keihard, en er groeit geen gras meer. Kan er ook niet op groeien. Niet alleen als gevolg van droge perioden. De greens zijn groen en prima, maar dat zijn dan ook de enige plekken die worden beregend. Alle fairways lijken op een ‘. Buckeilpiste ‘. Kortom de baan is volledig uitgewoond. Goed golfen is uitgesloten. Je moet maar afwachten waarheen de bal stuit op al die hobbels. Waarschijnlijk is de golfbaan in mei nog hier en daar groen. Daarna de baan sluiten. Wij waren zo dom om 70 € voor een green fee te betalen.

Schöner Platz mit viel Baumbestand. Relativ Flach nur zwei/drei Löcher runter bzw rauf. Weite Fairways und faire Greens.

Clubhaus sehr schön mit großer Terrasse. Speisekarte nicht sehr groß.

Das Clubhaus ist sehr schön. Der Platz ist eher einfach. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt dort nicht. Auch 38 € für ein Golfcart sind absolut übertrieben. Die Löcher sind einfach und langweilig. Wir haben zusätzlich folgende Plätze gespielt. Aufgelistet nach unserer Bewertung.1. Sokolov 2. Franzenzbad 3. Königswart 4. Marienbad. Das Essen im Clubhaus ist sehr gut und hier stimmen Preis und Leistung.

The name give alreadywhere yiou are ROYAL Marianske Lazny. One of the oldest courses of Czech designed in 1905 and became British Royal in 2003. It has a beautiful old britisch style clubhouse with all the facilities you as golfers can expect. As I understood the course only redesigned 2 holes and the remaining 16 are still the original design. Practice facilities are available and also a 9-hole par 3 course. Because it is an old design the fairways are narrow and the greens small as was the norm in these days. Many big trees boundering the fairways and you hardly noticed other flights. The course is good to play with a trolley but don't underestimate it. Still accurate play is required, there are sufficient strategic placed bunkers and some water hazards on 5,16 and 17. maintenance can be given some attention but the weather does not help either. After your round nice clubhouse and very friendly staff to review your round and if bad just enjoy your drinks and talk about the next one.

Man braucht nicht nach London fliegen, um einen alten romantischen englischen Parklandplatz zu spielen - den gibts auch in Marienbad. Herrliche Natur und wunderschöner klassischer Platz!

Schattenseite ist hier die schlechte Platzpflege, solche Grüns sind einfach nur schade.
