Royal Golf Club Malevil

Malevil is great idea and great resort. Overall you will find everything there. Nevertheless my rating is about golfcourses and what is linked to it. Will start with reception. Since first time you will get great service, they have good proshop and checking for the game is really fast. What I want to HIGHLIGHT is that you can take stroller and dog on the course. Obviously you need to behave and follow the rules. Course itself is not difficult there is many OB and water. At this moment quality of the grass is nothing special due the hot summer, but greens and teeboxes are well maintained. Fairways are bit damaged. From heat and from wild animals. Do not expect any special design, course is not difficult, wide fairways, large greens. Do not expect there much quiet atmosphere as the course is loud rather than quiete. It is course which family oriented and kids are welcome here. After game I suggest the 19th hole with good food and lot of space to eat. Prices are bit higher since the resort is favorite for Prague citizens and foreigners. It is average value for your money.

The Malevil golf course is part of a modern holiday resort, with an atmospher that combines Czech nostalgia with spaghetti western.

But that is mostly in the clubhouse. The course itself is in a beautiful hilly landscape. Only after the first few holes (which are rather dull straight holes) the course makes use of this setting.

From hole 5 on it gets more exciting: height differences, doglegs, water hazards, odd placed trees and such that makes a course fun.

This goes on onto the end, and in the end, Malevil turns out to be a very enjoyable course. With a couple of holes that stick (eg. 8,12,13 en 14). It takes a bit of climbing on some holes, but on the whole the course can be easily done on foot.

Part of the fun is that the course is not very difficult. The greens are not big, fast or undulated, but are perfectly maintained and also the bunkers are in fine shape. Only the fairways are bumpy, and not in very good shape.

If you don't expect a championship course, you get a very good course for a recreative round of golf.

Malevil golfbaan is onderdeel van een modern vakantiecomplex met een aparte combinatie van Tsjechische nostalgia en een Western sausje.

Maar dat zie je vooral in het clubhuis terug. De baan ligt in een mooi heuvellandschap. Bij de eerste holes denk je nog, jammer dat daar niet meer gebruik van is gemaakt. Want dat zijn saaie, recht-toe-recht-aan holes. Maar vanaf hole 5 wordt het spannender en zijn er meer hoogteverschillen, doglegs, waterhindernissen, en meer van zulks wat een golfbaan leuk maakt. Dat gaat verder zo door en al met al blijkt Malevil gewoon een hele leuke baan. Met een paar holes die je bijblijven (bijv. 8,12,13 en 14). Zeker niet moeilijk (daarom ook wel leuk). De fairways zijn matig, maar de rest van de baan is in uitstekende staat. De greens zijn niet groot of geonduleerd, maar zijn perfect onderhouden, en ook de bunkers zijn in prima staat.

Op een paar holes is het even klimmen, maar de baan is prima te lopen.

Verwacht geen championship course, maar Malevil is zeker een aanrader voor een ontspannen, recreatief rondje golf.

Is een uitgestrekte golfbaan, Qua ligging mooi om op te spelen.

Een fijne af en toe lastige baan. zitten een paar lange banen bij.

Verder vind ik het een gezellige baan om te spelen.

Golfclub Malevil heeft naast golf, evenementen activiteiten. Outdoor als klimmen en paardrijden. Tennisbaan en kindervermaak. Verrassend is een beeldentuin.

Als golfbaan leuk om te spelen. Soms eenvoudig en vervolgens verrassend met aangename hoogteverschillen.

Qua onderhoud door bebossing moeilijk om de greens egaal te houden. Gemiddeld traag.

In de herfst reeën op de fairway zien lopen en schade van wilde zwijnen rondom 1 green gezien. De green onaangetast. Voor ons een nieuw fenomeen.

Gezellige en vrije sfeer, laagdrempelig. Mooie omgeving.
