Toller Golfplatz mit völlig unterschiedlichen Löchern (alter/neuer Platz). Sehr abwechslungsreich zu spielen, zum Teil recht lange Löcher. Platz gut gepflegt. Sehr ruhig gelegen, zum Teil tolle Aussicht (u.a. Burg Hohenzollern). Auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert.

sehr schöner, aber schwieriger Platz mit viel Abwechslung.

Alter Platz mit unterschiedlichem Design von der Hälfte der Bahnen. Man spielt in sehr schwierigem Gelände, steht selten eben und inmitten von alten Obstbäumen. Dabei sind die Bahnen so angeordnet, dass diese „alten unangenehmen Bahnen“ am Anfang und am Ende zu spielen sind. Lange Wege und kein Wasser auf der Runde.

Very challenging course with great greens. Fairways were a bit wet and muddy. Rough on second nine is a killer. Bring your accuracy in shape on this course. Amenities are ok, well maintained driving range. Weak point here is hole 19th. Honestly would expect better service, especially on weekends. As I always review whole picture I say its just average compare to other places I already visited.

The golfclub Hechingen-Hohenzollern celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2015. Their course is divided in 2 segments, the new- and the old course. The new course (20 years old) consisting of holes 7 -15 provides wide fairways while the old course is more hilly and has narrower fairways. All water hazards are to be found in the new course. It had been warm and dry for weeks in the region. However two nights before our round the region received heavy rain, making the tee boxes and greens feeling a bit spongy and the fairways a bit of a guess. The deeper bunkers still contained some water, the other ones were again in a perfect condition. All in all, the course offers a good variation in holes, never a dull moment! We received a friendly receipt at the reception and were warmly welcomed by some members, the same applied for the clubhouse which offers typical local (swabian) food options. Al bonus, from some holes you have a scenic view on the Burg Hohenzollern.
