Killorglin Golf Club

Golf course is in good condition but with an extra bit of attention this could really be a hidden gem of a golf course on the heart of Kerry. Fairways were good and the greens were rolling well, I found the tee boxes quite uneven and not well cut (quite hairy!) but for the price of green fee we paid it is superb value for a decent round of golf with some really nice views from some of the higher vantage points of the course.

Prima baan, maar geen echte uitdaging. Bij aankomst in het clubhuis een prachtig uitzicht over de mooie omgeving! Vanuit het clubhuis daal je af naar de fairways waar het uitzicht helaas verdwenen is. Over blijft een leuk "limburgs heuvellandschap" met hier en daar wat bomen, waardoor de baan fijn speelt, maar verwacht geen uitdagingen. Weinig bunkers, water, doglegs etc. in het spel. Mooi keurig onderhouden greens. Al met al een prima baan, maar geen echte aanrader.

Niet een golfbaan waarvoor je naar Ierland moet gaan. Maar als je in de buurt bent, no problem.

Prachtige parklandbaan. Mooie prijskwaliteitverhouding.
