Kungsbacka GK

Deze baan moet je gezien hebben. Wat n prachtige natuur. Bossen, rotspartijen en de oceaan. Alles perfect onderhouden zoals de semirough en de apron. De greens zijn eerlijk maar uitdagend snel. De golfshop was uitgebreid en niet kinderachtig in de herfstuitverkoop kortingen. De leden staan er misschien om bekend trots te zijn op hun baan, maar dat is volledig terecht. We moesten wel al onze lengte met de driver gebruiken, omdat er een flinke wind stond, maar toch in buffer kunnen spelen. Dus heb je lengte, dan is deze baan m.i. niet te moeilijk.

Mycket fin bana. Blandade karaktär på hålen mellan Links och Skogshål.

En öppen och ganska flack bana. Varierande med skog, hav och park karaktär.

Gamla banan har fantastisk variation och hålen vid havet är magiska!

Lite segt att det är en bit att gå till driving rangen för uppvärmning.

Kungsbacka GK have 36 holes, Old course is the 18 hole park/forest/seaside course. 9 holes out and 9 holes in. It is in superb condition.

6100m from the back tee and more or less always a bit of wind which makes it difficult enough on some of the holes.

3 Swedish pro's started here, Fredrik Jacobsson(PGA tour), Johan Edfors(European Tour) and Sophie Gustavsson(retired LPGA tour).

We joined a 13 year old girl who shot 2 over par so I guess there are more in the making! Remember Miss Berglund, might be a future star!

It starts with a couple of parkland holes then one forest hole before it opens up towards the ocean,3-4 seaside holes before heading back in. 2 really short par 4's but very tight and a very risk and reward shot in the forest. The finishing hole is a short par 3 with bunker left, water + clubhouse right and you are 10 m above the hole when teeing off...

Definitely worth a visit. Best lunch restaurant in Sweden I think and I've been to more than 225 of them.

They also have the New course,9 hole in the forests, same quality.

The 9 hole Pitch & Putt is great practice but doesn't keep the same standards but still fun to play.

Worth a visit if in the neighbourhood!
