The Domburgsche Golf Club is proud to be recognized as one of the few genuine links courses in Western Europe. Established in 1914 on the island of Walcheren in the South West of Holland, the Domburgsche has recently celebrated its centenary. Nestling between high sand dunes, with a number of the tees and greens providing spectacular views across the North Sea, the course was originally designed by the golf professional E.C.Warren. In the early 1900s it provided a unique golfing opportunity for both local residents and the many tourists who visited Domburg.

Leuk om de enige echte links van NL te spelen met rustig winterweer. Minpunt is dat fairways holes 4 en 6 gedeeld (beide par 5) worden. Dit zorgt voor onduidelijkheid wie kan spelen en is ook niet bijzonder veilig omdat ze in tegengestelde richting lopen. Ondulatie in fairways en greens maakt de baan bijzonder uitdagend, evenals blinde afslag op 9. Zeker een aanrader om nog eens terug te gaan op een dag met veel wind!

Prachtige golfbaan met ligging in de duinen. De bomkraters uit de wereldoorlog zijn heel duidelijk zichtbaar vanop de eerste afslag. Baan zelf is een juweeltje. Jammer dat driving range veraf ligt.
Toch een plezier om deze baan gespeeld te hebben.

Mooie 9 holes linkse baan.
Op hole 1 prachtig zicht over de golf en de zee. Hole1 en hole 9 hebben verschillende afslag plaatsen.
Soms wat verwarrend wie voorrang heeft om te slaan 1 fairways voor 2 holes.
Super onthaal in het clubhuis met koffie en iets zoet. Lekker eten na een ronde golf.

Mooie kustbaan wel altijd veel wind en jammer dat je 2 keer 9 holes baan is.
