The Abu Dhabi City Golf Club began life as the Abu Dhabi Golf & Equestrian Club in 1976. For 22 years it was an 18-hole sand course but, in 1998, it was transformed into Abu Dhabi’s first all grass course. Its then nine holes were designed by the respected British golf course designer Ian Scott Taylor. The Abu Dhabi City Golf Club is a Par 70 course with a total of 6307 yards for men and 5403 yards for ladies. The 9-hole course design features one Par 5, six Par 4 and usual two Par 3. No matter what your handicap or length off the tee is you will face a good balance between challenging and inviting holes.

Mooi gelegen 9-holes baan in het hart van Abu Dhabi. Elke grasspriet is groen en mooi geschoren. Uitdagende holes met enkele waterpartijen. Prijs/kwaliteit is uitmuntend, reden om hier terug te komen!

Came across this little gem by chance - Although only a 9 hole, this course had some testing lies, and provided us with some excellent golf. It is built around a Horse racing track - so check your tee times!

Location ist super, mehr oder weniger in der Stadt. Sehr gut Zierteichen. Man bemerkt nichts vom Stadtleben auf dem Platz. Oase der Ruhe.

Abu Dhabi City Golf club is like the name says located in the middle of the city. It's shaped trough and around a horse track. This 9 hole course has not the same quality as the other courses in Abu Dhabi, but it's the perfect place for a quick round of golf in city center Abu Dhabi with a modest greenfee. The service is good, like also the restaurant at the clubhouse.
Btw don't confuse this course with the European Tour course Abu Dhabi Golf club like some of other reviewers did.
