Golfbaan Stippelberg

The estate can be found at the beginning of Stippelberg forests and sand dunes, heath and stately avenues mark the landscape. In the west ancient dunes lie as "dots" (Stippel in Dutch) in the landscape and that's where Stippelberg received its name. The 27-hole golf course is located south of this nature, built near large lakes. The surface is ultimately about 60 acres. The course consists of an 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole par 03/04 course, two practice greens, two approach greens with bunkers and a driving range. This complex covers some 90 acres and includes vegetation as initially occurred in the area such as gorse, heather, birch, oak, juniper and prinus. Each hole has its own historic name from the area and nearby residences. The 18-hole course (Championship Course) is divided into nine holes with predominantly heathland plants and nine hole course located along major water features. This brings the necessary variety on the course. Hole 8 is 536 meters (backtee) the longest of the 6116 meters long runway four par 5, nine par 4 holes and five par 3 counts. The 9-hole course (Executive Course) consists of five par 3 holes and four par 4. The total length of nine holes is 1913 meters. The holes 2 to 7 are crossed by "De Snelle Loop". In three of the hole championship course flows "De Snelle Loop" toghether into "De Esperloop" in a fast flow and forms a natural pond around the green of hole 9 of the Championship Course.
