Victoria Golf Club

This was the last of the 3 golf courses I played on that day (St Andrews Beach&Moonah) and I must say, overall, the best experience of the day.

Setting aside the fact that getting on the course is a bit tricky, as with all private clubs, but once you get a tee time, the customer experience is fantastic. The staff could not be friendlier, the pro-shop is very well stacked, the clubhouse is in a great condition and the food is above average. Zero remarks on that end.

As per the course, it's located next to RMGC, Kingston Heat, Metropolitan etc, for some reason, that area seems to be build for golf-courses, I just love playing there. In any case, I liked the layout a lot, it's very fun to play and permits to both, creative and conservative play, even when you get of track, the "wast areas" will reward a got "out shoot", unless your ball ends up behind one of the old threes, and there are plenty there. The course was in excellent condition, surprisingly so, I tee'd off late in the afternoon, after a full day of tournament play, and still, it looked like it was just tended to, impressive.

All in all, if you manage to get a tee time, do not miss the opportunity to play a round!

This beautiful course sits in the heart of the Melbourne Sandbelt.

Simply amazing use of bunkers down here, and the reason we love the game is, as the 'Vic is, visually stunning holes meet the golfer both off the tee and from pitching distance out.

What a way to end playing 36 holes in a day, than by playing this beauty!

The Victoria Golf Club really is impressive. If you can book a tee time, I seriously recommend it because you'll be glad you went!

This championship course is just spectacular. With the assistance of Alister MacKenzie helping design it, just says it all.

The facilities are awesome. The chipping green is probably one of my favourite greens to practice on. You can spend all day on there!

Overall, a lovely course and you will definitely be impressed!
