Je m y suis rendu par rapport aux commentaires de Leadingcourses. Et je ne regrette pas!

Des mon arrivée on m a prit en charge de suite, après un passage a la réception, je me suis rendu au restaurant pour un petit déjeuné (qui etait dans la formule winter warmer offer a 140£).

De retour pour faire quelques petits achats au pro shop ou il y a un bel assortiment de vetements logotés ou non et un peu de matériel.

Malheureusement dans la campagne Anglaise l hiver il fait un peu froid et j ai eu du retard au depart... terrain gelé et 1h40 d attente, mais du coup j ai pu aller au practice m échauffer tranquilement ou les balles de practices sont inclus dans le green fee et a volonté. Il y a un assistant pour vous aider a nettoyer vos clubs! Il y a ensuite une belle zone d approche.

Passage obligé par le putting green qui est assez grand.

Puis depart, le starter nous explique tout ce qu il faut savoir, donne la carte de parcours, des tees à volonté, un releve pitch et surtout un carnet de parcours qui sera assez utile! Il y avait quelques travaux sur le parcours notamment dans certains bunkers. Mais quel entretient! Les fairways étaient parfait! Que dire des greens magnifiques avec une vitesse de 8. Les bunkers étaient géniaux et tous avec la même quantité de sable. Les ruffs étaient assez denses et hauts (mais bien moins que l ete m a dit la pro de l accueil qui de plus parle Espagnol aussi). Le tracé est genial et intéressant.

A la fin de la partie un assitant vous nettoye les clus et vos chaussures, ils offrent une médaille de sac au couleur du parcours! Une délicate attention! Tres sincerement j y retournerai! J ai adoré!

Top MUST PLAY golf course that has hosted the WGC (won by Tiger Woods!) & the British Masters with a very high service level. They don’t have members. They are completely focused on giving the guests a fantastic golf experience.

Pro:

-Very friendly staff.

-The balls on the driving range are stacked in pyramids. That tells you you’re in the right place.

-Lovely short game area.

-Very nice putting green by the first tee.

-Friendly starter on the first tee who gives complementary tees, pencil, pitchfork and strokesaver.

-The focus on pace of play is great. Every group gets some kind of a transmitter so they can track your progress during your round. They understand that nobody likes a round that takes longer than 5hrs.

-The overall experience as a guest is wonderful. They honestly do everything they can to make you comfortable. They even have someone to clean your shoes!

-The maintenance of the golf course is superb. Fantastic tee boxes, great greens and wonderful bunkers.

-I love the lay-out of the course. It is quite long, but the undulating fairways are wide and the rough was cut quite short. The hazards are in the right places to constantly keep you on your toes.

-The green complexes are wonderful. The greens are very well protected by bunkers and runoff areas. The designer (Kyle Philips) did an excellent job!

-The course has an excellent balance between being challenging and being playable. It’s very fair. It’s a course that makes you feel good, but you have to play well to bring in a good score card.

-There is a lot of variation in the holes. It never gets boring.

-Every hole has a name.

-My favorite holes are 5 & 17.

-The clubhouse is cozy and luxurious. Nice dressing rooms, wonderful patio with views on the ninth and the eighteenth, nice bar with good food.

-Every player gets a beautiful bag tag with his name engraved. That is a very nice detail.

-They have a large hotel on site. I didn’t go in, but it looked very nice.

Con:

-The course was very muddy when I played. It was the middle of the winter though.

-The showers can use a renovation (perhaps I focus to much on this because of my profession )

-Noise from the motorway. Even though there is beautiful countryside around the course, the noise disturbed the peace and quiet.

Buggies were not allowed on the fairways. I have dodgy knees and the buggy was somewhat underused.

THE staff were incredibly polite and for a corporate day out we couldnt really ask for more.

precioso campo parkland emulando a campo links. cada hoyo es una experiencia. muy equilibrado en sus 18 hoyos. pares 3 largos y cortos, muy buenos dog legs y par 5 challenging. De lo mejor que he jugado en UK.

Fantastic facilities, super friendly staff, great services.
