The Harry Colt designed course is now rightly regarded as being one of the best conditioned venues in the south of England. In updating and enhancing the course, the club has held dear to Colt’s design principle that “any alterations should blend in with the environment and not alter it, and anything added to the natural landscape should grow to be a part of it”. In recent years, the club has constructed new tees and has started a programme of reinstating several of the original Colt-designed bunkers that were closed immediately after the last war. These improvements have seen the venue steadily rise up the rankings to sit at 114, just outside the United Kingdom’s top 100 courses.

Bellissimo campo da golf pubblico nella incantevole Canterbury (Kent, UK). Affianco al campo c'è una bellissima area di pratica, con ingresso libero, gestita da Maestri molto bravi e competenti.
C'è un pro shop fornitissimo dove con gentilezza e competenza e buon prezzi è possibile acquistare le attrezzature e gli accessori necessari.

Very interesting golf course Great scenery very well kept probably one of the better ones in Kent.
Nice course, with variety of interesting holes. Some of the fairways still suffering with bare lies from last year’s very dry spell in South Eastern England. Spacious welcoming clubhouse/staff.

A challenging 18 hole course, designed by the world famous Harry Colt, is the jewel in Canterbury Golf Club's crown. Harry Colt designed the course in 1927 whilst working on other projects such as Wentworth. Many of his original design features are still prominent today and have been enjoyed by golfers for 90 years. With a floodlit driving range, open to the public, a fantastic bar and restaurant and excellent pro shop, Canterbury Golf Club offers an exceptional range of services to its' members and visitors alike.
